When the park gates are locked and darkness takes over, life continues into the night. Created by Bright White and tucked away in the grounds of Kings Manor Vespertine is a digitally produced sound and video installation that exposes the magnificence and brutality of nocturnal wildlife. The York based company provide an intriguing, contemporary audio track, which is acoustically tuned to the space and will creatine hidden pools of sound. Animal sounds will be orchestrated to produce an enchanting piece of modern music. Discover a place where cutting edge technology meets the natural world in what promises to be an eerie experience.
Formed in 2004, Bright White are based in York and specialise in providing fresh and suprising approaches to museum and exhibition design. With an international track record spanning Scandinavia, USA, Malta, Germany, India and Hong Kong, Bright White have worked with clients including international museums, fortune 500 corporations, hospitals and local authorities.
Bright White will be collaborating with Pip Strang, Assistant curator of Biology at York Museums Trust to accurately develop sounds and images.
