Call for 'Expressions of Interest' for 2010's Festival
This is a call for submissions for this year and future festivals, and we are interested in hearing from you if you have work, existing, new or in development which you would like to showcase at the festival. We are interested in both large and small scale, indoor and outdoor, and interactive or participatory work that shows York in a new light.
At this stage, as it is a call for expression of interest, there is no formal application process. If you are interested in submitting a piece for the Illuminating York Festival, please complete the form and return it to us by Friday 9 April 2010. To recieve an application form, either click here, or contact Kat Hetherington

You can visit York Art Gallery to try the tagtool for yourself during afternoon sessions as part of the Big Draw
Residents of the city can learn how to use the tagtools to compose stunning images by putting their imaginations and creativity to full use. These images will be projected on to the Multangular Tower during the festival, where festival goers can add and animate their own layers. GaiaNova will present a rich and many layered work of art painted by many people from all walks of life.
