The glint of candlelight on gold, glass chandeliers sparkling on the grand staircase, shadows cast in gilt mirrors, visitors or ghosts...? The first evening opening of Treasure's House as part of Illuminating York promises to be one to remember. A rare opportunity to see the house at night. 13 historic rooms full of rich and curious antiques all belonging to one Yorkshire man, Frank Green.
If ghosts are your thing, then get on a tour to the famous ghost cellar where the Roman legion walked (places limited so come early).
Refreshments: Warming light refreshments available & free tasting samples of Treasurer's House specialities.

Late Night Opening
Saturday 31 October until 10:30pm
The library is about to close for an exciting refurbishment. This is your last chance to see it, as it was. There will also be free hot chocolate from dusk onwards
